Occupational Health, Safety, Welfare and Environment Policy

Harcoo Enterprises Pty Ltd has a genuine commitment to all occupational health, safety, welfare and environment matters while conducting our business activities.

This is achieved through:

  • complying with statutory requirements, codes, standards and guidelines;
  • setting of objectives and targets with the aim of eliminating work related incidents in relation to our activities, products and services; and
  • defining roles and responsibilities for occupational health, safety, welfare and environment matters.

Strategies will include:

  • ensuring occupational health, safety, welfare and environment management principles are included in all organisational planning activities;
  • providing ongoing instruction, education, training and supervision to all employees;
  • consulting with employees and other parties to improve decision-making on occupational health, safety, welfare and environment matters;
  • ensuring incidents are investigated, consulted, reviewed, monitored, communicated and that education lessons are learnt within the organisation;
  • distributing occupational health, safety, welfare and environment information, including this policy, to all employees and interested parties;
  • ensuring employees and other related parties are involved, participate, are listened to and heard on all matters related to the safety of themselves, others, the work environment, the work structures and plant, the facilities and our work systems, policies, procedures, and processes;
  • providing adequate resources to ensure occupational health, safety, welfare and environment is a central part of our organisation;
  • ensuring adequate processes are in place and reviewed for workplace monitoring;
  • ensuring adequate processes are in place to meet the needs of employee’s welfare within the workplace at all times; and
  • ensuring effective and timely injury management and rehabilitation is provided to employees.
